Since its establishment in 1988, it has achieved quantitative expansion and qualitative development by utilizing excellent educational resources.

As the representative department of Kyemyung University, the department has about 15 full-time professors and about 3,000 graduates. Our department stands out as a leading force, uniquely specializing in machinery and mobility among Korean universities.

We actively attract national education projects and centers for students to provide an excellent educational environment. It is also the only local department participating in the Hyundai Motor Company NGV program.

The department also focuses on fostering practical talents through capstone design and field training in collaboration with domestic/foreign companies. It fosters students' creativity and broadens their horizons through nationwide activities such as design competitions, technical qualifications, club competitions, and Hyundai Motor Company competitions.
